What’s happening in the Cultivating Faith-filled Confidence Facebook group and then beyond?
Dear sweet Ben, I’m so glad you asked!
My older brother Ron is here too, keeping me on the straight and narrow and encouraging me along the way, so Ben, if you’ll allow me to adopt you, I’ll be sandwiched in encouragements by an older AND a younger brother! Does it get any better than that?
What’s happening?
Today, which is Wednesday, January 31, we will write again in Pomodoro style as many of you have with me before using the same link we always use – it’s posted in the posts in these discussions and featured in the post at the top of the group, at least until someone tries to spam us!
Essentially:
- at 10 AM CST we will spend about 15 minutes introducing ourselves to one another and praying for one another
- from 1015 to noon:15 we will mute our audio and stop our video so that all you will see is a Pomodoro timer ticking in the top right hand corner of your screen, and we will write Pomodoro style which includes a 25 minute session of writing with a five minute break / another 25 and 5 / another 25 and 5 / and another 25 minutes which equals two hours of faith-filled confident writing. We will come together from 12:15 to 12:30 PM to say goodbye and offer a word of encouragement to each other.
Beginning in February we will open up opportunities to write together in similar fashion on Monday mornings, Tuesday early afternoons, and Wednesday late afternoons. We will write in community in the same manner.
But on Monday mornings:
- at 9 AM CST, we will come together for a faith-filled confidence writing tip session where I will share all I have learned as a blogger, author, and publisher in bite-size snippets!
- at 9:30 AM we will share what our writing projects are for the week and spend significant time with a short devotional and in prayer for one another.
- that set us up to begin our writing session at 10 AM.
We’re considering doing a 2nd Saturday of the month confidence community virtual weekend retreat, where we will begin our intensive writing day
- at 9 AM with faith-filled confidence writing tips,
- at 9:30 AM with a devotional and prayer time
Then, our three writing sessions that day will be from
- 10 AM to 12:30 PM (all CST)
- 2 PM to 4:30 PM
and
- 6 PM to 8:30 PM
- We’ll take an hour and a half break between the 1st and 2nd sessions for lunch, and
- We’ll take an hour and a half break between the 2nd and 3rd sessions.
I realize that February 10th is upon us pretty quickly and you may already have something on your calendar but I hope you’ll try to jump in and bring any writing friends you wish. It doesn’t matter whether you’re writing emails and social media posts or your Magnum Opus, You ARE a REAL Writer because you re writing almost every working day.
Discipline and Prayer – Matthew 18:18-20, NASB
18 Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.
19 “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. 20 For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”
I know you’ll be pleased with the progress you make, because “where two or three are gathered together” in God’s name, the Lord promises to be “in their midst” and He seems to always honor that when we are together, oftentimes, in miraculous ways!
Join me for writing, faith-filled confidence, and miraculous results!
Be Confident and Blessed,
Karen
